Strawberry, Pineapple, Orange, Mango Smoothie

14 May

This smoothie was oddly odd. I expected it to be fantastic. But when I pureed my strawberry-pineapple-orange-mango smoothie in my Vitamix, there was “airy” nature to the drink … as though air pockets were in the drink. It was ok, but not fantastic. Not sure what made the airy nature, whether it was those faux strawberries sold at grocery stores in the last couple of decades or the pineapple.

Here’s what I used to make this drink —

  • 1 mango
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1/3 pineapple
  • 1.5 cups frozen strawberries

Like I said, it was ok. But the sense of air in the drink was odd.

Did you add ice or water? If you add banana to your smoothies it makes for a smoother texture, as well as yogurt and ice helps too! You can always maximize nutrition and add “leafy greens” make it a green smoothie. They are the best. Join us in Vita-Village and see what other Vita-Mixers are doing. Let me know how your next smoothie comes out! Best of luck to you.

And, I would to lie to add another ingredient, i.e. substitute two ingredients by one:
